A season that got off to a blistering start has done a complete 180 with Orange County now on the wrong side of the playoff line. We can spend all of our time blaming injuries or referees or untimely departures. 

But Orange County in recent memory has yet to truly have a terrible run of form….

Orange County SC got a much needed goal from Ethan Zubak and were able to rely on a makeshift defensive line in front of Colin Shutler to steal a victory to end Indy’s 10 game win streak.

Then the week after happened and OC lost both its starting midfielder and their head coach.

The match on Saturday had all the signs that it would be another disappointing evening for Orange County SC. They had to travel across the country for an away match against Indy Eleven, a team that has been absolutely on fire in the league recently, with an 8-match winning streak, all while OCSC continued to struggle with injuries.
