Orange County SC goalkeeper Colin Shutler hoisted the fantasy roster of many fans onto his back this past weekend and up into the top of the table. With Colin accumulating a whopping 16 points this week, anyone with him on their roster grabbed a lot of points. Unfortunately, most of the fans have Colin on their roster, and with a clean sheet plus eight saves, those points add up.
We calculated the magic-maximum this week was 33 points and one fan came very close with 30. Many players were in the mid-high 20’s, a bunch more in the teens, and sadly a few people (even podcast crew) down in the single digits through just bad luck and roster rotation. We’ve actually somehow got a tie for first place, with the 3rd-place fan nipping at their heels.
All eyes are on the final game against Oakland this weekend. With Karlsen’s departure, will interim coach Paul Hardyman rotate players? Will we see the return of Amang, Nakkim, and Doghman? Brian Iloski AND Seth Casiple left Indy’s game injured- do they play? See you at the champ to find out.
