Another week down and not only did the boys in Orange and Black win- but they scored goals. That’s right: goalS. Plural. Multiple. IMO, the 3-2 score line was indicative of the run of play, on balance. Detroit City picked up a PK but otherwise they didn’t really test Colin Shutler beyond the first goal and a few other easy saves.
The argument can be made that Orange County is in panic mode. Losers of four consecutive games, two goals scored in previous four games, nine goals conceded in that time span. To compound those matters even more is the fact that Orange County will also be without their starting center back Ashton Miles and head coach Morten Karlsen due to suspension.
At least the jerseys look nice.
