Bryce Jamison – Approaching 100 Caps for OCSC

As of writing, Bryce Jamison has played in 94 matches for OCSC, scoring 11 goals and assisting 11 more. He is the most recent youth academy product from the Orange and Black to have been scouted and acquired by a top flight club. He was acquired by the Colorado Rapids in April of 2025, for a reported fee of over $525,000, where upon he as immediately loaned back to OCSC for the duration of the 2025 USL Championship Season.

Bryce made his debut for OCSC’s first team, as a 16 year old, when he played for four minutes against Pittsburg on September 25th, 2022. It is nothing short of remarkable that he has accumulated 91 appearances for OCSC, totaling 4,638 minutes played for our wonderful club.

On the all-time list, Bryce is currently the fifth most-capped player for OCSC. He sits two appearances behind Kevin Partida (96) in fourth place, and six more than sixth-placed Colin Shutler (88). We must also highlight the fact that a 19 year old is about to make the fifth-most appearances for our club. He has served our club and our fans honorably, and notably at such a young age. What a wonderful achievement on his behalf, and we can’t thank him enough for his continued dedication to our club.

Throughout his time, he has developed into a fast and direct player, who can play on either wing. He always has a spark of doing something magical on the ball. It’s how he holds himself against fully grown men and how he sizes them up as he looks to exploit the channels with his superb dribbling and speed. I can personally recount watching him live in the 2023 season, knowing that he had the “special touch” of one able to take on opponents and make progressive dribbles passes in the final third. He likes to be on the ball and drive into an opposing defense, similar to direct wingers such as Jamie Gittens of Chelsea and Illman Ndiaye of Everton.

His skill on the ball has not gone unnoticed, as he has represented the United States Youth National Team U-19s on two separate occasions, playing against the Spanish U-19 and Ukrainian U-20 sides in international friendlies.

To break the 100-appearance mark for OCSC would be a landmark achievement both for Bryce and for OCSC. To have their first academy graduate hit 100 appearances would be a testament to the continual talent development factory that OCSC and its youth academy has become.

We hope that Bryce can continue to develop his skills and wish him nothing but the best for him in his soccer career. Hopefully, he can end his time at OCSC by winning the USL Championship, which would solidify him as a legend at the club. We hope that someday, we see Bryce lift the World Cup for the United States, and to lift significant trophies for whatever club he so chooses. We wish you nothing but the best Bryce. Godspeed and Good Luck!
