The Orange County front office had a lot on their plate in the month of July. They saw departures of players but answered by bringing in some much needed reinforcements to help with the late season surge into the postseason. All professional sports are businesses at heart that after some time would like to see some returns made on investments. One of the bigger sources of income that OC possesses is their youth academy. When comparing OCSC’s academy to other USL academies, Orange County has placed themselves into the elite in terms of developing and selling off players for a profit. It is a way of running a club that is proven in other parts of the world and one that OC has looked to establish in a very deep and talented Southern California market.

June 8th, Match #13 - Orange County SC @ Phoenix Rising FC
June 1st, Match #12 - Orange County SC vs Detroit City FC
The argument can be made that Orange County is in panic mode. Losers of four consecutive games, two goals scored in previous four games, nine goals conceded in that time span. To compound those matters even more is the fact that Orange County will also be without their starting center back Ashton Miles and head coach Morten Karlsen due to suspension.
At least the jerseys look nice.
