Forward Kevin Coleman Joins Orange County SC

IRVINE, Calif. (March 15, 2019) – Orange County SC is delighted to announce the signing of young American forward, Kevin Coleman.

Coleman, 21, joins the club following a 3-year spell in Germany. The dynamic winger spent 2 years with the F.C. Kaiserslautern in their U-19s, before moving to SpVgg Bayreuth of the Regionalliga league.

“I’m happy that we were able to sign Kevin,” said OCSC Head Coach, Braeden Cloutier. “He came to us in preseason & made an immediate impact with his pace & ability to score goals.”

Prior to his move to Germany, he was selected for the U.S. U-17 National Team Residency Program in Bradenton, Fla. Playing alongside Christian Pulisic and current teammate Hugo Arellano.

I would also like to thank Orange County for this great opportunity. I am excited for the season and can’t wait to get started!”

“We are excited to add Kevin, a talented and energetic winger to our roster,” said Oliver Wyss OCSC General Manager. “He is the kind of young player that will develop in our structure and flourish under the guidance of our coaching staff.”

Coleman will be on the roster for the club’s USL Championship home opener on March 16th against Tulsa Roughnecks.  

Per club policy, terms of the deal will not be released.
