It's all still to play for... but the intensity for both sides is about to increase. Phoenix visits Orange County on Wednesday night as both sides look to cement a spot in the 2024 USL Playoffs.

With some new tactics and a 16-year-old in the starting lineup, Danny Stone finally ended the month-and-a-half victory drought this last weekend when Orange County SC hosted the Eastern Conference newbies, Rhode Island FC.

Some familiar faces return, but it wasn’t enough for Orange County SC to do it on a stormy night in St. Pete.

The match on Saturday had all the signs that it would be another disappointing evening for Orange County SC. They had to travel across the country for an away match against Indy Eleven, a team that has been absolutely on fire in the league recently, with an 8-match winning streak, all while OCSC continued to struggle with injuries.

Thanks to goal each from Thomas Amang and Ethan Zubak, OC returned to winning ways. It wasn’t always comfortable, but the team adapted yet again to jump back to second in the West.
